• Windows won't maximize completely, and I can't move my icons past some invisible barrier

A day or two ago, I started having some issues with my account on my computer. so this is my desktop, and the icons on the right are as far to the right as I can put them This is as far as a window will maximize so basically my usable screen space just cuts off here, but it's only like that for me. The other account on this computer doesn't do that. If someone could explain this and if I could get some help, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
Might be your wacked-out theme bro
no, I tried all the themes I had, It still gave me the same issue.
Who makes your video card? nVidia or ATi?
UXTheme? A modified shell (different/alernative explorer.exe)? What makes your UI tick? List the programs, please.
I think I had a similar problem once, try changing resolution then changing back again
Nvidia card uxtheme is patched for custom themes I don't know what ui is I use basic windows explorer and I'll try the resulution thing. [editline]08:52PM[/editline] k so changing the resolution didn't work, so I'm gonna try unpatching uxtheme sometime tomorrow. and restore the default theme.
ok I tried unpatching uxtheme, and that didn't work. It's still giving me the same problem. [editline]02:44PM[/editline] I tried re-patching it, but that didn't work either. [editline]02:46PM[/editline] also, I was wondering if this could have anything to do with divx. I installed the divx plus pack the day before this started, and I didn't really think it was relevant since I uninstalled it to free up some hard drive space.
