Herro. I'm considering buying an Nvidia 3d vision kit (http://www.inet.se/produkt/5408517/nvidia-3d-vision-glasogon). It costs 146,59 dollars for those who want in another currency. I have a GTX 560 Ti and want to play mainly tf2 and minecraft in 3d (If it doesn't take too much from the card, maybe even BF3 and skyrim) I don't have the money yet but I figured it could be something I save up to. Should I buy it?
In my opinion, 3D is a useless gimmick. So that's a no from me.
I want it because I think it looks awesome.
No It hurts your eyes after 30 minutes and doesn't work with a lot of game titles. Don't forget you need the 3D glasses, a GTX 580 AT MINIMUM for acceptable framerates AND a 120Hz monitor to use it. You could buy a car with that money
Oook. What about buying stereohphohohoho shades?
Oook. What about buying stereohphohohoho shades?
Invest your money wisely in a really nice audiophile pair of headphones and a soundcard. If you like music at all it's worth it.
3d can be pretty amazing and immersive in games if the game supports it properly enough. Back home I played Crysis2 in 3d with the dx11 and high res texture mod on my parents tv, I can say it was an incredible experience... Expensive though.
It's complete useless. My dad was really excited about this an year ago, spend a shit load of money for new monitor and computer. For now he doesn't even touch this. And like people above me said, it really hurts eyes after 20-30 mins and there is no enjoyment playing with them.
I have it, it's not worth it.
