What happened is my video card or my card slot on my motherboard gave out so i removed the card and use the built in display port. I've been able to play games such as starcraft 2 F.E.A.R. and various other high end games pretty well without a video card. Then all of a sudden i started getting these bogus messages like this one from starcraft when i try to launch the game. 'The videocard is not accessible because no display drivers are installed, another 3D application has exclusive access or the machine was locked. Please close any 3D applications or games and try starting StarCraft 2 again.'
Oh and when this became an issue this intel thing poped up as if it where my graphics center. I have a Intel dual core 2.2GHz processor but i don't see why this would happen.
get a new motherboard for $75. problem solved
My computer works fine but something in the last few days changed software-wise which is preventing me from starting some high-end games. Such as starcraft II, Before this problem and after i removed the graphics card this game ran fine but now it wont launch and it displays the above message.
