A weird error has occurred with my computer recently, after trying (and failing) to install Fedora on a separate partition to my Windows 7 install I have been having small problems with it. I wanted to add Fedora to the Boot Manager so I can go from GRUB to Windows to GRUB again to change OS. I started up EasyBCD to be met with a "Cannot find OS" message. Odd, seeing as I am using the damn thing as I type.
It goes through the "Please select drive containing OS" crap, I do that picking the correct drive on each dialogue. Just to be met with a "Cannot find OS" kind of message. Apparently there is no BCD/ Bootmanager at all on this Windows install, yet the files exist in my computer, and Windows still boots.
Any ideas?

oh and GRUB is on it's own partition out of the way as to not overwrite the MBR.
Rewrite the BCD entirely.
EasyBCD should have an option to uninstall vista bootloader and a reinstall or something. If not boot into WinPE and run
bootsect.exe /nt60 C:
Hmm, I did try that, I can rewrite it. But EasyBCD still doesn't pick up Windows. It says the volume might be currupt, but if it's working I wouldn't say that's right.
