Hi, just got infected with that crappy toolbar thing. Btw I have 2 installs of windows, snap.do is on my win7 64 bit install I'm currently using my windows xp 32bit install and so far there are no signs of snap.do here. I'm doing a scan with kaspersky. I would be very grateful if anyone could help me remove that piece of crap
Use Malwarebytes to scan the partition the virus is on.

alright, so I followed that step by step. What I did so far is, doing a full scan with kaspersksy (it found nothing), then I uninstalled the program from the control panel. I changed all the browser settings like in that tutorial. I also went into the registry editor and removed/changed anything with snap.do Do I still have to scan with malwarebytes? btw there seems to be no signs of snap.do anymore, and my browser loads faster. Is this a good thing?
Yes, but I'd do a scan with malware bytes just to make all the infection is gone.
