I'm thinking about a birthday present for myself, and on my wishlist happens to be a usb side-screen. It is also a touchscreen. The model is iMo touch.
Why not a real, big screen? Because my main is a widescreen anyway and I don't have much space.
Why not a professional graphics tablet? Because I don't draw.
So, could anyone tell me if there is anything useful I can do with a touchscreen on a pc, and if there is any software that uses touchscreen alot?
Honestly, if you aren't going to draw or sculpt, a touchscreen/tablet doesn't serve much of a purpose. Most applications don't support the way it works so you would simply be stuck with a fancy way to browse the internet.
I really want a touchscreen so I can do my drawings/designs easier onto the computer, Those little 7" ones are £119, still quite a lot for small screen.
Get the cheaper one to watch movies while gaming. Spend the extra saving on a big bag of candy.
It would be useless to get one. I have seen them used in presentation to quickly switch between screens and set ups, but other than that you are going to regret it.
You will use it for about a week and then just realize you aren't getting any usefulness out of it.
buy it and then when you get tired of it i'll take it off your hands.
cause i'm a good friend.

Touchscreens aren't good for drawing. Go for a tablet if you are considering drawing.
You can touch porn
