Will purchase closer to release date.
Though it seems expensive for an expansion pack, considering the hours I dumped into Civ 5 already, it should be a fruitful investment.
$30 for an expansion pack seems just right.
That's about twice what I paid for the game.
So just because you bought the game on sale you think they should price the latest yet to be released expansion cheaper? This doesn't really make any logical sense.
But this is Civ5, one game usually lasts a full 24 hours for me.

Only 24 hours?
That's about twice what I paid for the game.
Um okay? Just because we're in 2013 now does that make you entitled to having an expansion pack worth $10 instead?
If I remember correctly, I paid a good $20 for Mysteries of the Sith when that came out and nobody had problems with that pricing. Be thankful we're still getting good quality expansion packs from some companies.
Gods and Kings was $30 at launch, why is it a problem that their second expansion be the same price?
And here is the current feature list for Brave New World.
it will be worth it, I do not regret buying Gods and Kings at ALL

55$'s for me..

Oh my fuck Morocco is gonna be OP as shit.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm super hyped for this.
I want to pre-order it ASAP. So excited.
The problem that i have with civilization 5 is that it's not like another golden age of modding like civilization 4. Civilization 4, there was major mods all over the place, Rise of Mankind, Fall From Heaven 2, Caveman 2 Cosmos, History in the Making, Realism Invictus, Dune, Planetfall, and other mods out there that I didn't named. When i got civilization 5 and expected the same thing to happen but it didn't, we only got a few mods out there that are small and not as big as the one's that I like.
Only 24 hours?
Yeah, what the fuck? I've been playing a game for like 20 hours, I haven't even seen all 8 civilizations. I can't fathom doing it in 24 hours.
I'll wait until it's about £10 like I did with G&K.

Oh wow, 75% off and it's around 20 bucks, that just feels weird.

The game by itself costs the same in both USD and Euros but the Gold Edition is cheaper in Euros, crazy exchange rates.
Cannot wait for this to be released! Well, I mean, I can, but I don't want to! Love Civ.
I cant wait for it to go on sale! As shady as that sounds, $30 is to much for me. I do love Civ5 though.
30 bucks is way too steep.
The amount of time I spent on the base game, and the even more time I spent on Gods & Kings surpasses 30 dollars.

The likely 10000000 hours I will spend with THIS particular expansion makes the ratio of dollars spent/fun had very much worth it.
To guys bitching about the price, check out Cdkeyhouse, i picked up G&K from there for half price.
this reminds me of ym favorite book ever i have to reread it
