My computer is lacking in something, but I can't tell what. It's processor and video card seem to be fine, but most games don't run very well. Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 925 Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.8GHz RAM: 8 gigabytes DirectX version: DirectX 11 Video card: ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 Series
no it's your GPU also this should go in PC building section
Wrong section buddy. PC building section can help you better.
I just want to know what's wrong, I'm buying a new part but I can't tell which I should.

The GPU would be the thing to look at in your case. What power supply do you have in this machine?
I'd recommend updating your video card. While the one you have is decent, it won't run a lot of newer games all that well unless the settings are turned down a good deal (that's how my old 4650 was). I'd recommend upgrading to a GTX 470 or higher, depending on your budget. Everything else looks fine. In fact, you have pretty much the exact same system as I do :buddy:
