Hello Everyone, now I'm not going to lie, I need sources for school, I have to right a paper, and no I'm not asking anyone to write it for me, rather that I'm asking that you help me write it, As in, help me find Primary and Secondary sources, now I hopefully know you guys know the difference between Primary and Secondary, and I'm not doubting that most of you intellectual people do, Below this paragraph I am gonna state my ideas and If possible, you can help me by basing sources around my ideas and what I'm trying to accomplish with this paper. My Ideas First off, Let me tell you what my Idea is about, this is for my American History class, and what better of a topic to express American History then the Prodigy we call the Internet! Yes, you read correctly, my Paper is going to be on the Internet. Now what about the internet you ask, well the assignment for my paper was to write about something that was Revolutionary and a marvelous innovation to the United states of American. In terms I was thinking of several things I could branch my paper out on * Internet History * Internet Censorship * Internet Net Neutrality * Back on History going through a time-line how It evolved from when they first came out privately to how they can be considered a fundamental asset to everyday people Now, this has to be on History, neutrality, time lines, and censorship revolved around the United states, If you guys have more questions so Narrowing down searches. Now to be reminded I'm not asking for actual people to write it for me, I'm asking for people to help me look for sources, and as a limb I will cite you on my paper for credible contribution If you guys have any questions, ideas, or anything that I could add to my paper, feel free to

Really though, I can't even say that is any help at all, Wikipedia is not a credible source, and really can't be used as a Primary or Secondary source
Look at the sources on the wiki article. If you're lazy: Say stuff from the wiki article. Cite wiki's sources as your sources. If you're not lazy: Do your own digging through wiki's sources
What a privilege, being given the choice of being lazy or not...
Look up China's entire conflict with censoring the internet. There's bunches of goodies to be found there.
Really though, I can't even say that is any help at all, Wikipedia is not a credible source, and really can't be used as a Primary or Secondary source
Lies. Your teacher is bullshitting you.
Lies. Your teacher is bullshitting you.
Wrong. Wikipedia is opensource for anyone to edit ( it doesn't get reviewed till later ) hence, it's not a credible source, since any amount of information could be made up by some 14 year old kid looking for a laugh. if I understand it correctly, it was because of some kid editting wiki, and saying that iraq had weapons of mass destruction, that started the ongoing war.
Really though, I can't even say that is any help at all, Wikipedia is not a credible source, and really can't be used as a Primary or Secondary source
On the contrary there are plenty of sources at the bottom of the page if you choose to read it, dipshit. I did the same thing with one of my papers and it worked just fine, all you have to do is take the information from it, and put it into the correct citaiton format. In fact, anyone who isn't aware that wikipedia page editing pretty much requires citations and sources is a complete dipshit. If there are no citations it will state it clearly at the top of the page.
There is a podcast called "Tech Stuff" that covers a ton of this stuff. I suggest you check them out.
I'm kind of surprised, I thought people would be flowing with ideas, but now it seems if it's a debate whether or not Wikipedia is a credible source. Thank you for suggesting the podcast; I will check that out.
