• Router forwards only TCP connections

We recently got a new router, because our internet speed increased. However, it has only one port, so we also bought a switch to share the connection between the three PCs. So, this is our setup:
Zyxel P-2602R-D1A router ----> Sweex R0003 switch ----> My pc
Now, I first set up my webserver which worked just fine: However, when I replace that with port 27015 for my source server, the utorrent port test says it can connect to the port, but other people are not able to join. They could retrieve pages from my webserver just fine though. What's going on? Does it need a seperate setup for UDP connections or something? My MySQL server works fine too, and another thing that uses UDP doesn't work, so I'm sure it has something to do with that.
Sorry for bumping, but this is stopping me from hosting a game server the regular way.
I think your first problem is that, from what I've seen, that's a modem, and not a real router. I could be wrong, but I don't see why a router would only have one ethernet port. I'd recommend getting a real router. That should fix all your troubles.

Unfortunately only some routers give the option for doing both. (And making life a little easier of course)
