How does this look for a sub-£400 gaming build? (UK)

Like it says in the title, I'm looking to build a low-mid end rig for gaming on, and my budget tops out at £400. I've got what I think should be a decent build, but this is my first time doing this so I'm not sure.
Could any of you PC building gods take a look at it for me please? As I said, this is my first build, so there's a high chance that I've made a stupid mistake or that there is a better part available for less that I overlooked. Or, if I'm completely barking up the wrong tree and a sub-£400 gaming rig is completely infeasible, tell me that too :)
I'd hopefully like to play games like Deus Ex, plus source games like Gmod and maybe a little minecraft, plus a bit of 3D modelling and image editing and whatnot. Monitor resolution is 1680x1050, if that helps.
Thanks guys

Oh I should have said, my parents are having my old rig so no spares from that. OS is accounted for, I have a couple of Windows 7 keys from school.

You can choose between AM3+ compatability for bulldozer or x8/x8 for a second card down the line.
Personally I'd go for bulldozer compatability, you may be able to fit in both if you drop to terrible, and I mean terrible case.
Oh thanks that looks better :) May I ask if there was any reason for the change of case? I'm not challenging you, just genuinely curious. Also would it be worth getting 8GB of RAM? it's like £15 extra.
These days 8gb is so cheap compared to 4gb, get it when you can afford it.
As Goz3rr said, go for 8gb if you want but for games it won't make a difference.
And the case is upto you.
How good will this be? Could you record modern games (or minecraft) at a decant frame rate with this?
Okay, thanks for all the help guys :) one last thing, for about a fiver more I can get a seagate barracuda green 1TB hdd. I'd quite like the extra capacity, but I've heard some guys say that the green's best avoided and I'd be better off with the spinpoint f3. What's your take on this?
Get a 1TB F3, green's aren't good for boot drives nor regularly used storage (games/whatnot).

The Samsung Spinpoint HDDs tend to have quite a high fail rate. I can confirm this as I've had my Samsung HD103SJ fail on me and my relative had his Samsung HDD fail, too.
Look into these ones:

If you get Dxtory, you can record with almost no FPS hit

Thanks, that western digital looks pretty nice :) do the hard drives come with SATA cables, or will I need to buy those separately?

Check the product page and see if it mentions any extras.
You could always buy the cables anyway - they are cheap and useful if you plan on buying more HDDs later.
