Just wondering what the best anti virus/spyware/whatever protection I can get out there is, just my Norton ran out and I was wondering if I should upgrade to something better. Thanks for any help!
Norton is really really bad, I'm in the same boat. I need a newer antivirus, this on isn't picking up anything yet my computer is slow as shit and I look at porn everyday
Get Microsoft Security Essentials. It's free for anyone who has a legal copy of Windows.
I hear Comodo or MSE is good. Comodo was a bitch when I went to remove it though.
NOD32 if you want to pay, MSE or Avast if you don't.
Avast, its free and good lol :P
Comodo is bullet proof.
Microsoft Security Essentials Although most people see the name and instantly think it's terrible, it's actually the best anti-virus I've ever used.
MSE and some good old fashioned common sense.
Malwarebytes!
Free: MSE/Avast, malwarebytes(free) Paid: NOD32, malwarebytes(except buy it for the extra protection features)
I'm using SpyHunter for Spyware and Malware. Then I have Comodo for my firewall. Then I have Avast for my antivirus. Haven't had a single problem with viruses, spyware/malware, or intrusions.
