Sounds to me like it could be very useful, depending on how well it's done. What does FP think?
I can do this already. I don't need a browser to do so. Especially when my browser is closed most of the time.
Sounds a tad exploitable.
Or they could just, you know, make a simple one-click webserver that doesn't have to be bundled with a browser for absolutely no other reason than getting more people to get Opera.

Or I could, you know, keep using Apache.
I mean GOD FORBID a product has features for getting other people to use it, right?
of which has zero purpose to be inside of a web browser.
of which has zero purpose to be inside of a web browser.
It's related to the functions of a web-browser.
It's related to the functions of a web-browser.
In the same way a car dealer is related to the functions of a car...
In the same way a car dealer is related to the functions of a car...
You don't drive around with a car dealer inside your car.
You don't drive around with a car dealer inside your car.
He can sell you a car :eng101:
You don't drive around with a car dealer inside your car.
And you don't browse the web with a server in your browser.
To me it sounds rather useful, Rate me dumb if you want. You can't expect everyone to want it :)
Sounds easy to DDoS. I bet it would take 10 simultaneous users to crash.
Or I could, you know, keep using Apache.
This. And you could add what you want, and you can do every thing with out some one that starts bitching about user agreement violation.
Sounds easy to DDoS. I bet it would take 10 simultaneous users to crash.
Yeah. Though from what I've experienced, it already is slow as shit for most people hosting unless they have really good speeds.
All you need is good upload and you're set...
All you need is good upload and you're set...
It can only be used for testing purpose though.
