Despite it being second hand, my other monitor worked perfectly fine yesterday until I turned it off (I'll get to that) now this morning it refuses to turn on, absolutely nothing, I've tried a different power lead as well, no luck but when a power lead is inserted the front power led lights up for about a second and turns off again, no display on the screen.
I have reason to believe that it's not the screen because firstly, why would it suddenly die overnight when it was fine when I turned it off and secondly as I mentioned earlier, I did have some problems with the power button when I went to turn it off yesterday and upon pressed the monitor setup box appeared so I closed it and tried it again and it kept happening so eventually I kept pressing the power button until eventually it turned off.
Due to the above, I think I've somehow damaged the power button and I'm thinking I should probably open it up however I have no clue what to do without breaking it, I've undone all the screws and it's still firmly held together, it looks like I could just pull the two pieces apart but don't want to force it, any ideas?
The monitor is an 17" Edge10 H170.

tl;dr - My monitor won't turn on, I was a bit rough with the power button yesterday, no idea how to open.
Is it under warranty?
I doubt it, I bought it second hand probably around a year ago.
Also, unless someone can think what's wrong with it I've given up with it, managed to get it open and have a look around in it and still nothing.
