• Core i5-750 with 500w?

I'm getting a i5-750 and a 5770 but I have a question if 500w will be enough for both of them. I'm not looking to overclock or anything fancy. The PSU is Antec and is good quality btw.
That'll do son, that'll do.
Easily.
yep, have both of them and running 500w. works perfectly
Oh, perfect
It's the graphics cards you've got to watch out for
It's the graphics cards you've got to watch out for
And the 5770 isn't very power hungry.
Ok so say I want to crossfire the 5770 in the future, will the 500w be able to take the heat?
Depends on what Antec 500W it is. Is it the Basiq or the EarthWatts? [editline]10:09PM[/editline] Oh and hopefully all of the PCI and molex power connectors are spread out evenly on both rails, otherwise I would say it won't work, as you're either working with 18A or 22A, and a single 5770 probably pulls about 10A or more.
Yeah you will be fine.. i have a antec 520W and it works fine
