I broke a lazy boy chair the first time I tried to get through Dark Souls. It was the stone giants in the forest who cast that spell that keeps you from running.
I broke a monitor by swinging my mouse into it 8 years ago. What an absolute cunt I was back then.
I broke a monitor by swinging my mouse into it 8 years ago. What an absolute cunt I was back then.
I remember doing that when i was trying to play The Specialists back when it had it's resurgance here.
I ripped my mouse cords off by forces and slammed it on the wall.
My brother stabbed through the touchscreen of his original DS with the stylus, he headbutted his PSP screen and shattered it, and he used to autistic-scream when he used to play COD and Dark Souls. Kept me awake for most of my teenage years :v:
Never had one. I never do rage quits and I never rage in general. Maybe annoyed sometimes.
Strangely enough, I've broken many things in my lifetime during angry outbursts, but never have I broken anything due to video game induced rage. I have rage quit, though it's never been anything more than alt-f4ing out and doing something else to brighten my mood.
I punched a hole in my wall once.
The only time I ever ragequit was when I was lagging super badly in League of Legends years ago. I only get annoyed in games when I lag basically.
I think my worst was when I knocked over this tray table thing near my desk when a boss on Furi was pissing me off. Didn't break anything, but it did damage the cap of a lotion bottle that I had on the tray.
Rust has the ability to bring out the worst in me.
This week I left a game of TF|2 because there was a hacker in it. I left and reported him. No point in wasting my time playing hide and seek with a hacker while I try to score some kills
my worst ragequits are usually just me killing the game with the task manager and watching youtube videos to distract myself from how angry i got by playing a *game* :disgust:
Fucking water temple
Instead of breaking stuff I just start complaining about everything nonstop or just delete the game, again
MWO Beta on a crummy PC. Lost 5 matches in a row, 0 kills, killed super fast. I snapped and threw my wireless mouse and headset. Headset snapped and all the guts on the speakers fell out. Mouse bounced around and its batteries flew everywhere, it never acted the same after that. Needless to say I swore off competitive games after that expensive ragequit.
i was playing metroid fusion and that fucking spider boss pissed me off bad enough for me to snap my gameboy advance in half
I've destroyed a dualshock 3 or two after dying like a fucking moron in GTA 5. I don't mind dying in a competitive game, but if I look like a fucking idiot while doing it, I lose my shit.
There was a time where I really raged at Kingdom Hearts when I had to battle Riku in Hollow Bastion. Motherfucking 1 hour cutscene type shit before the battle and if you die you'll be punished by being forced to watch it again. Thank fucking god for the ps3&4 collection to allow cutscene skipping There was also any racing stuff in Jak 2 & 3, and Jak 3 had really floaty driving which made the final boss in it an awful mess
Not proud of it but I was continuously killed over and over again while playing The Last of Us Multiplayer mode, got pissed, stood up, grabbed my shirt collar and ripped the shirt nearly in two and sat back down to continue playing. Felt way better after that, never raged at a videogame before that day. [editline]3rd September 2017[/editline] oh and later on i punched the ps3 controller playing the same game and the R1 button flew out of the controller.
Tekken makes me tilt a lot and uh, I did this to my desk: [t]https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/340639952117301251/345686160846094336/20170811_225215.png?width=507&height=676[/t][t]https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/340639952117301251/343401929659121664/20170805_153512.png[/t] The hole was created and worsened with a combination of my PS3 controller and my fist :v: It started out like this, I kept hitting it the more I played Tekken
Image of Absolver is accurate - those 1v1 combos got me furious. I always raged at difficult games when I was a kid. PS. I like these articles that bring us together.
The only time I ever ragequit was when I was lagging super badly in League of Legends years ago. I only get annoyed in games when I lag basically.
there's just something about dying due to lag or other external problems that's super tilt inducing if i'm doing terribly without lag at least it's because i'm the one who's playing poorly
My brother stabbed through the touchscreen of his original DS with the stylus, he headbutted his PSP screen and shattered it, and he used to autistic-scream when he used to play COD and Dark Souls.
I always raged at difficult games when I was a kid. PS. I like these articles that bring us together.
For me it's the opposite. I started playing video games really young with a Famicom, and as a kid I always assumed I just sucked at playing games instead of knowing they were made to be insanely difficult or even unfair. A single game would literally take me weeks or months to beat, but it always felt satisfying to improve. I really got to give credit for difficult games early on since I think that's what helped me being able to turn up the highest difficulty option in a game at the beginning without getting frustrated, nor rage quit at online games and such.
I used to make autistic screeches and cry when losing in any competitive game.
Not mine but I remember a friend broke his laptop while playing LoL. He tried to hit the table out of anger but instead he hit his laptop and it stopped working right there.
stabbed a wall during the infamous "death wish" chapter on hotline miami's 2 hard mode
I got pissed off in one match in Halo 3 because my internet was shit. Teleporting; late shots; low ping enemies running circles around me; all that jazz. The last straw was when I almost shot a teammate due to said lag and the teammate's friends started TKing me. I endured the round, but boy was I upset. I was a calm teenager who rarely raged but that round left me nearly in tears with frustration. Thankfully my parents upgraded the internet soon after.
