making it a limited-time only demo was dumb in the first place
I didn't even know there was a demo - Will go try it now!
What if it was never going to be time limited, but they said that to get people to try it now instead of later?
Demos need to come back, refunds and loads of coverage just aren't enough.
This demo would have been a lot more helpful pre-release, when people were still skeptical about the game's quality.
The only way for me to see if i like a game before i try it often times is to pirate it. At least with a demo I'm not pirating the entire thing.
Never expected a demo for a game to come out a month after its release and be a timed thing. Who thought it was a good idea?
This demo would have been a lot more helpful pre-release, when people were still skeptical about the game's quality.
It's really short and doesn't show off the game at its best, though.
I wouldn't have bought doom without getting to try the demo, as I wasn't sure that my 840m could run the game but it apparently can.
