• I cannot get my Turtle Beach X12 Headset to Work With My PC

My headset worked a while ago, until I tried to get it to work with Steam. It treats my headset and my speakers as one entity, and when I try to set it as default for both recording, and audio, it ignores the request.
Welcome to the Turtle Beach experience They're expensive, glitchy "gaming" headsets that rarely work the way you want them to
Sorry, but Turtle Beach blows :v:
Realtek soundcard? There's an option to seperate the two inputs (Front output and rear output) in the Realtek sound manager thing. Assuming you do have realtek, you'll want to go here: Click the top right "Advanced Settings" button and check "MAke the Front and rear play two different audio streams"
Sorry, but Turtle Beach blows :v:
we know, you could try to contribute anyways
Yay. I figured it out. It wouldn't work in a split USB port. It has to have a dedicated USB port. (Is now waiting for thread to be locked.)
