Microsd suddenly not recognized by every device I have. Is it possible to access files?

What it says. My 32gb kingston micro sd suddenly just died and now nothing is recognizing it. Can I do anything or it's all lost now?
Can you connect it to your computer and see if Device Manager sees it? It may tell you that something is wrong with the drivers, which you can reinstall by selecting the driver -> Update -> Browse My Computer -> Let Me Pick -> select the proper driver and install it.
If that doesn't work, but Device Manager does see the device, you can try a drive recovery program like TestDisk which should be able to access the SD card.
If it does not show in device manager then updating drivers will do nothing. Try rebooting the computer with the card plugged in, sometimes that makes them show up.
Device manager just shows my card reader's devices, they don't change if there's a working micro sd card in it or not
Sometimes it can help if you plug it into a camera or something else that can read micro sd cards, then plug the camera into the computer and see if the external storage is accessible through it.

Shit, i missed that it wasn't accessible on any device. Sorry. :v:
Yeah, no luck so far
How the fuck it can just die somehow?
Depends on the usage, in any case sandisk > kingston in my opinion.

That's how SD cards and similar cheap flash storage fail. If the stars align you'll see reduced write speeds and/or file corruption first before complete failure, but most of the time it's as you've experienced

Agree, I had a Sandisk card die on me but at least it reverted to read only mode so I could back it up.

RO failure should be a standard.
