"I don't run an anti virus because macs don't get viruses"
That sentence on its own is going to be part of the reason why its going to be super easy for some developers to write malware and cause wide outbreaks.
Remember the panic when the first virus for mac was introduced.

The Macintosh was released in 1984. :eng101:
-Snip, wrong thread-
But I thought "Mac's don't get virus"? Are you telling me that Steve Jobs lied to me?
well its hardly gonna decrease now is it
Is this Apple hate shit seriously still so rampant? Why did I think the internet was past hating things like CoD and Internet explorer? Anyway, this isn't really saying much. I imagine there will be more Windows viruses as well next year. I mean this is pretty much common sense. More people have started using OSX by now so obviously viruses are going to become more common.

It's more to do with the user base almost everyone I know still doesn't run an AV and just expects it to "work" the only time I have seen macs running AV's is when they are owned by companies.
A lot of windows threats are related to exploits in things programs such as Java and Flash which are phased out really fast now

He was 15 at the time.
In other news, Windows malware will also go up.

It's more the fact that many Apple product users are the equivalent of tech biggots, as in "Apple is best, everything else sucks, everyone else's a scrub"
Probably also the part where it costs a fuckton of money because "Apple", planned obscolecense... And can't remember anything else atm.
they put a lot off effort into their product's aesthetic and their OS's and not much else.

I don't think we'll ever get to pre SP3 XP levels.
