They've not actually said that happens to people who don't have elite.
What is this, a DLC for a DLC for a DLC?
a dlc for people paying for the subscription for mw3
Golly gee willikers! A whole map? How exciting!

It's just a bonus for the fans willing to purchase Elite accounts. It's not like you should expect an entire extra game tacked on.

For the price tag for a year membership of Elite, makes sense to expect an entire extra game tacked on.
"pay $50 for our exciting new feature in mw3: ELITE!!!!!!!!"
yeah, i'm really glad i skipped out on mw3
didn't they bump the price up to 20 $ or something? I thought I heard someone say upcoming CoD mappacks would be 20 $ although I'm not sure where.
great, i can play a modified version of highrise in MW3 now, going to get my xXx69(&M1G%)PR0QU1KSC0P3 on!
In other news, Cry Of Fear comes out one day later.
[editline]8th February 2012[/editline]
It costs $0
Looks neat, but it's no Highrise
back in my day maps were free to download
in the thousands

Where did it say you pay for just the map? I'm pretty sure the map is an added bonus for elite account purchasers.
This is what it says for premium accounts on the Elite website:
With a Call of Duty ELITE premium membership you get 20 new multiplayer maps, Special Ops missions and more first on your platform. You also get year-round competitions, events and many more revolutionary Call of Duty ELITE features.
And I'm pretty sure you get all that content for free as a bonus for getting a premium account.
From the title for a split second I thought it had something to do with the HL2:DM map. Then I realized that would be impossible.
They should just kill the CoD series, since they've become nothing but cashcows.
$50 for Elite (or $20 if you count the Hardened Edition). Fuck that shit.
I went to Best Buy and got a new upgraded Android phone with a limited edition CoD Elite cover and a free full year of CoD Elite for buying MW3.
I can safely say I got the best possible deal ever on a game as soon as it came out.

Why would they kill the series? Each one breaks sales records.
Not saying that makes them good games by any stretch, but people want them, so they'll keep making them.
I think it might die in a game or two, a lot of my friends that love CoD are starting to hate it.
Unfortunately this is the game that set sales records. No matter how bad it gets, there are people who will keep the franchise afloat.
It looks just like Highrise from MW2.
I thought Black Ops was pretty good :C
