So, I don't have a lot of money, anyone know a Quad-Core cpu that is at least good and cheap? thanks
How cheap?
Do you plan on just a new CPU? If so, you'd need to say what your current motherboard is at the very least. Also like stated above, a price range is nice to have, rather than just 'cheap'.
The cheapest quad core you could find is from AMD, and there are varying levels of speed there. The Athlon processors, the Phenom processors and then Bulldozer and Piledriver respectively. Personally, if you really didn't have enough for an i5 I'd recommend something like an AMD FX-6300 (really, Piledriver isn't that bad). Else, if you have more money, maybe an i5 3570k?

Piledriver was only a tiny improvement over shit Bulldozer. i5 3330 if you're on a budget.
I know the newer AMD chips are shit compared to intel, but they are not that bad for the price if your budget is extremely low
AMD Phenom II X4 (or X6 if you really want) is great if your on a budget and still has some pretty damn good performance and overclocks quite well. Personally I would not even consider Intel given their poor price / performance ratio until I'm forced to upgrade.
