SOLVED - see last post
This is pretty urgent, I can't get into my PC at all. Therefore, posting this from my other PC.
Recently (since anywhere from a week to a month ago?), I've noticed that it takes an unusual amount of time for the logon screen to show up (black screen for a while after "Starting Windows", but startup sound plays immediately after "Starting Windows", though that startup sound gets cut off in the middle for some reason, probably related). Now, it doesn't even show up. I noticed the mouse cursor shows up no problem when I move around the mouse, but nothing else shows. The logon screen where I input my password just doesn't show up at all. I tried shortcut keys like Ctrl+Alt+Del, none worked. I've tried system recovery/restore, but it's saying crap like there isn't enough space on the C drive (which there probably really isn't enough space). Not even safe mode works... It seems to me that I am in a worst-case scenario, but do any of you have any ideas? I'm thinking the graphics, especially Nvidia Optimus, are suspicious because it's been doing some weird stuff lately, like some graphics-dependent programs just don't work. And yes, my graphics drivers are up to date.
TL;DR- Can't log on, log on screen is black, cursor shows. Drivers are updated. Tried safe mode.
Specs-
PC maker: MSI
CPU: Intel Core i7-4700MQ
RAM: 12GB (4GBx3)
GPU: Nvidia GTX 770M + Intel HD Graphics 4600
HDD: 128GB Boot SSD + 1TB Data HDD
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Update: I just noticed that the power light is flashing at a constant rate, every 2 seconds or so, between orange and white. Under normal operation, when it's white, it means it's using the Intel GPU, while when it's orange, the Nvidia GPU is in use (Nvidia Optimus), so it must have something to do with the graphics.
Okay, since nobody seems to know anything, maybe a video helps:

There doesn't seem to be any sort of option for the graphics, not even PCIE. :/
I still can get into recovery mode though, is there some way to disable it from there?
nope.
see if you can get another os going like mint or whatever linux on a bootable usb hopefully it's just windows being a dick to you it's bit of a mouthfull to explain exactly how to do that in a post though.

How does that fix my problem of not being able to get into Windows though?
Yeah screw it I reinstalled windows, all works fine now. The entire system was already a mess anyways. Thanks for the help anyhow!
I take that back, it's doing the same thing again, even after reinstalling Windows with older graphics drivers... Is my GPU dead for good? :frown:
Could it be related to window's fastboot?
since it's really not turning off the system, and could be failing to start up again
the theory sounds plausible in my head, could be off by a long shot

I disabled it via the command prompt in recovery mode, did nothing. Although this time safe mode seems to be working. I'll mess around with the drivers and see if that fixes anything.

Found the culprit, disabled the Nvidia card and left the Intel graphics enabled when I was in safe mode, now it works. I'll see if updating the Nvidia drivers does anything.

Alright, all seems to be working without a hitch now with the drivers updated, but I won't get my hopes up too much considering what happened earlier. I'll post here again if anything happens. Thanks people!
