Out of curiosity. I've only played Oblivion so I guess that's my vote.
I think the fact that you've ~only~ played Oblivion disqualifies your vote. [editline]27th July 2011[/editline] Not because you've only played Oblivion but because you've only played one game. How can you make a fair judgement when you have no experience pool to draw a conclusion from?
I've gotten at least 300 hours in Morrowind. There are some cool ass fucking mods when you're a tyke. I still remember Morrowind's theme song. And Jiub in the beginning. And oh god :v:
But going by my experience. Morrowind looks far better though
Morrowind was a fantastic game but it was pretty unrefined, so I'm going with Oblivion. Plus, fuck the pterodactyls.
I'd say Morrowind.

I played the crap out of Morrowind and Oblivion but I liked Oblivion better because the world seemed much more alive and involved and the gameplay just felt better.
I had trouble getting interested in Morrowind. I really liked Oblivion, though.
I honestly prefer Oblivion.
Morrowind for me.
Hardest choice of my life. :( I put hundreds of hours into Morrowind and Oblivion, and a spent a couple of days playing Arena and Daggerfall for a while. I can't decide.
Morrowind, easily. The only ES game I've not played is Arena. Oblivion shot itself in the foot with the awful level scaling in my opinion, hurray for mods. It's still a good game to play vanilla though, of course.
Should've waited until Skyrim was out.
Obviously Oblivion. Morrowind is good too. Except for these motherfuckers.
I prefer Oblivion over Morrowind personally.
i like oblivion better, duplication is fun
Hah, I'd never actually looked up Arena before. It blows my mind that it's gone from that to Skyrim. Same with Fallout.
Daggerfall.
I never got farther than the second main quest in Morrowind but I still played it a lot. I loved the setting so much.
I've only played Oblivion so I can't really make a choice. But on a related note Skyrim looks amazing. I can tell it's going to be better than Oblivion because Oblivion had such as... unfinished feel. The animations were horrible along with only about 10 voice actors and the combat felt clunky and dull. Skyrim for the most part looks at least more "complete" in terms of the gameplay, unless they make some major last second changes.

Unpolished a bit, sure, but not unfinished. I also feel it made several poor design choices, such as the "World revolves around you and your development" level scaling. It held your hand and the game was just way too easy. The animations in bethesda games are always bad since they have awful animators, but they're using new technology in Skyrim so HOPEFULLY that'll put an end to that. The animations I've seen so far have mostly been decent in Skyrim. Also, have you played Shivering Isles? If not, do check it out, it's a fantastic expansion.

Hopefully that's been fixed with the new engine they're using rather than the gamebyro engine (which pretty much everyone hates). Also, somebody uploaded a few comparison animations. I loved oblivion

It's a great expansion. I would have beaten it twice but at the end where you beat Jygallag he decided to give a long ass speech and I was a vampire so his long speech eventually killed me onced it reach daytime. :v:
Shivering Isles is more morrowind kind of layout and style with Oblivion gameplay. Its really nice.
Only played oblivion and morrowind. Oblivion wins for me.
Gotta go with Morrowind.
I had more fun in Oblivion than i had in Morrowind.
