How often do you change your avatar? - General

I change mine at least once a week. I get bored of my avatars very fast. I also just kinda enjoy making them.

Never.

I've done it once so far.

Whenever I see something that would make a good avatar.

Once or twice a year.

I've changed it 3 times before my current one. I'm not changing this one until I get gold member. I like my 80x80 avatar too much.

I kept my first avatar for the longest. After that, I changed quite a few times once a month until I ended up with my current one, which I'm going to keep for a long time.

I just changed mine today, last time was a couple of months ago. I've only had 6 or 7 in my facepunch-years though. [B]EDIT:[/B] It seems every time I post something, which is very rare, my post count drops, I wonder what happens when I hit zero.

Once every month or so, I'm happy with this one though.

I dress it up for the holidays and special occasions. But I've been using the same template for years now.

I can't believe how many people let their avatars stagnate. Then again that's why I made this poll. I wanted to see what people did with their avatars.

Keeping the same avatar for a good amount of time makes you easy to recognize. When I was reading this thread, I only saw that guy with the bee avatar. It's only now that I'm actually going out of my way to read it that I know your username is K3inMitl3id. If you change your avatar constantly, you won't be easy to recognize.

Went ahead and changed mine back to my older avatar since I've only had the bee one for a few hours, as opposed to over a week for the other one.

Pretty much never, but thats only because many people really identify me by this avatar.

I've done it maybe twice now

It changes every now and then but not often. I usually draw the avatar myself, this one is done by me.

This is my 3rd ever avatar. First one being a sign that said Cool Ice. Second one being a GIF of a goose looping and zooming into it's eye. 3rd being Ellie Goulding.
