When I play Mirrors Edge It loads up fine, I hear the sound, but my monitor says "MONITOR SIGNAL OUT OF RANGE." All other games work fine (I.E. Audio Surf, L4D, Gmod, Hl2) but its just this one game.
If I'm not mistaken, this happens when the application's resolution is higher than the resolution that the screen supports.
Well how do I change the resolution? I am on the steam version.
Right click the game > properties > Set Launch Options...
I think it was " -width XXXX -height XXXX " without the quotes XXXX being the numbers ofc.
Didnt work. :saddowns:
I had a similar problem, it's something with the refresh rate.
Well how do I change the refresh rate?
I found ze solution:
If you have Windows Vista: Locate the file C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\EA Games\Mirror's Edge\TdGame\Config\tdEngine.ini
If you have Windows XP Locate the file My documents\EA Games\Mirror's Edge\TdGame\Config\tdEngine.ini
Open tdEngine.ini with a text editor such as Notepad.
You will see some lines such as:
ResX=1024
ResY=768
Just change those variables and you should be ok.
I did that. And Steam loves me and says "Game is currently unavailable."

That sucks. :frown:
Go into the properties of the game and verify the files.
I verified, changed, and reinstalled. Its not working. HALP

Press ctrl+enter (or alt+enter) while in game.

Make your game windowed.
