How does facepunch deal with the aftermath? I usually just drink a load of coffee and energy drinks, but I still feel nauseous and tired throughout the day. Post your survival techniques.
sleep
I work the overnight shift every night. Try: Facepunch.. duh www.virtualnes.com www.addictinggames.com
i usually eat constantly and feel ok and not tired until i do nothing then i fall asleep where ever i am. Once went to my friends house to hang out(after an all nighter)like 15 minutes after school ended(which was like 3:00) we took turns on GTA4 and i fell asleep after 15 minutes and didn't wake up until 9:00. so i was like what was the point of coming over here?
If you aren't at work, drink tons of beer or liquor. Works for me, you forget about being tired.

Me, him, another mate and my girlfriend were all playing Little Big Planet. I fell asleep as soon as I finished my turn, they told me two hours later "They didn't want to wake me because I look retarded in my sleep and it made them laugh." I got woken up by my friend farting in my face. Very uncool.
The last time I did an all nighter I took a nap in the late afternoon and woke up thinking I was the guy from Scrubs I had to go to the emergency room
It's not that hard. Drink MILD caffeine drinks. And it's important to eat, no matter how unmotivated you are. Else you will get nauseous. The reason for this is that anyone can get what is called an allergic reaction from caffeine, and trust me you don't want that. So make the intake slowpaced. I've done this quite alot. TRUST ME GUISE.

Slender man thread. It will keep you on your toes.
And fall down and get knocked out by the sink either way it's gonna happen.
I don't fall down. lol
Drawing, having a dog bark at everything out side, while you are a paranoid skitzafrenzic maniac who thinks everything your dog barks at is a burglar. oh and , watching creepy things, thus slender man ^
I dunno, man. I just... Stay awake. I somehow function better on no sleep than I do on little sleep. Sometimes at school, I'll stay up all night just for the hell of it on occasion, but if I only get like four hours of sleep at night, I just feel ready to pass out at any moment. It's better to have never slept at all than to have slept and lost, I guess. I've gotten so that if I'm lying in bed awake for several hours, unable to sleep, I'll just get up and start doing things again because it'd be better then having to wake up again JUST as I'm sleeping.
When i first started allnightering I guess energy drinks/junk food after so many allnighters it's pretty easy now.
I don't fall down. lol
i do occasionally :( but that's only when it's to the point i don't realize that unlike the screen door the fridge door does not slide open...
Usually I'll just proceed like normal and then crash on my bed.

I don't really get affected by lack of sleep until that night. On Saturday I didn't sleep, and survived without being too tired until about 9pm on Sunday.
By guy I'm guessing you mean J.D.? Did you have all his day dreams :P
Nah, I just yelled at my brother about how I had to go to my job at the hospital
Urgh god, I'm on one right now. Two glasses of ice coffee, and I feel like i'm gonna puke. Any ideas to fix meh? :P
Nah, I just yelled at my brother about how I had to go to my job at the hospital
I did that once, but I had an epic headache and I took like a whole bottle of pain killers while watching Mythbusters. I woke up the next day thinking I was Jamie Hyneman and I yelled HOLY SHIT WTF HAPPENED TO MY BEARD!!!!!!??????
In my experience (which is limited!) pulling all nighters seem have a similar effect on me as a light smoke of marijuana, starting from 6 AM to 2 PM. Anyone else feel this? Maybe I should point out that I've only pulled about 4 or 5 all nighters and smoked twice. The reason why I saw from 6 to 1 is because normally, I willingly pass out after that.
