Im tryng to install XP at my aunts PC .. but XP Setup doesnt detect my HDD
the hdd is: Seagate ST380811
i googled it and i know that i have to press "F6" and put in a scsci raid driver disk .. so xp setup can detect the HDD
~but ! the PC doesnt have a floppy ... and i dont have some disk .. :/
so what can i do ? i heard i can put that drivers into the XP Disk using nLite .. but i have no clue how to do it ... and which drivers to dld
so help me pls
This happens quite a bit. Obviously you need a floppy disc drive so ransack your aunts house to see if you can find one. Then look for a floppy which you can use. If you can't do that report back.
they have two pcs
none of em have floppy drives ~
and nor i do have 1
