What odd thoughts do you have just after waking up? I have odd thoughts all the time and I actually believe them, and when I reflect on them, I question my sanity. My alarm clock woke me up and I instantly shut it off. Feeling tired, I thought when the secondary alarm goes off, I'd just time travel back to midnight so I can sleep more. I believed this.
Anything you got?
Once because I spent the night watching the TV show 'Fringe' (Sci-Fi show), my alarm went off in the morning and I was convinced that by waking up I had passed through to a parallel world, and by going back asleep I would be able to go back to continue helping my team save the world.
When uk had that earthquake a few years back i was awake through the whole thing.
but only halfway ...so i didn't think anything off my room shaking and remember thinking something about a rhino like creature i had as a pet nuzzling the side of my bed (bunkbed)
i was disappointed when i found out something interesting actually happened here ..even more so when i remembered i was actually awake through it to a point
Do false awakenings count? Because if so then my weirdest one was the time I 'woke up' and my Skyrim character (the female argonian) was in bed with me.
If false awakenings don't count, I've woken up thinking I lived in Alaska, that I was in the hospital, that I had no teeth, and that I was bleeding profusely from my feet.

*Shudder* Dear God, that's my worst fear. Did you watch something like that before sleeping? How do you randomly just imagine that?
I had a dream that I was in the UK getting chased by those cops with the silly helmets and they kept beating my ass for chewing a piece of gum while I ran down a narrow street.
The second I woke up I was like ''oh thank god that was over, huh it never actually happened'' and as I lay back down and went back to sleep guess who was waiting for me back in my dream world...
Sometimes I have very vivid dreams and for some reason I was with a group of my friends and was fighting a group of people who for some reason were riding a giant boar, although I am not sure the "people" were entirely human more like shadowy figures. It seemed like my alarm woke me up right as they charged and my first thought was "They are lucky cause I was about to fuck them up" it took me a few seconds to realize it was not real.
'why the fuck am I dead'
waking up in the hospital, the thing they put on your finger/toe to feel your heartrate fell off, thus claiming I was dead :v:
I once woke up and thought I was still dreaming, so I figured I could do anything, I ended up touching the fire on the stove while someone was cooking...
"Did I just spend 10 hours absolutely idle in a bed ?"
Or "Did my mind just fastforward 10 hours into the future ?"
I once had a dream that my car got crushed and I woke up trying to work out what I was going to do about it.
I also had a dream that my uncle died once, I woke up with my eyes wet from tears.
Or atleast I think it was tears.
I see lots of dreams where I wake up late or wake up on time but just slap the alarm off and continue sleeping. Then when I wake up for real, I panic and check the clock and it's usually couple of hours before my alarm REALLY goes off.
Once in middle school my dad kept trying to get me up and telling me to take a shower.
So I thought about a dog eating a steak and thought I did what he wanted and then I fell back to sleep.
My mum woke me up once and when I opened my eyes she was a large floating eyeball.
Most of the time my brain just comes up with ridiculous excuses not to get up.
like "uh it dosnt matter if i miss scool today i can try again later"
or "uh i cant get up yet i am still missing the final ingredient in my potion of awakening"

My brain used to set me challenges when I had to wake up for school. I couldn't get up because the world was still loading or something like that.
I took a short nap and i thought it was the next day.
One time I woke up and proceeded to do my usual routine. I got up, took a shower, brushed my teeth. Then, why brushing my teeth it slowly dawned on me that it was 3:00AM and I had no school that day.
Once I tried opening the pause menu to check the time, and when it didn't work I just thought "Ok, I'll just check the inventory screen instead"
I tend to wake up when the first alarm rings (I have about 4-5 alarms so that I can successfully get up) but I somehow manage to slumber in a way that makes me miss some classes at school.
One time, I was dreaming about something, and I did something that made me expect an alarm to go off. My phone activates the alarm, and I quickly reach out to the phone, press "Dismiss". Did that on most, if not all, alarms that morning and actually thought I saved someone.
Another time on the bus, i was quite sleepy. I was just thinking for myself, and didn't really pay attention to any chatter going on around me. Then a thought struck me. Someone had apparently called me really early and told me he would meet up with me by going through some pipes. What made me uneasy was that I "heard" someone saying they would stick tubes into a pipe.
I seriously got worried of an imaginary person, because I thought he could die if they put tubes into the pipe he was in.
I remember one time when I was sick and a bit out of it on medicine I went to sleep at like 1 in the afternoon and woke up in the middle of the night and everyone else was asleep. In my state of mind for some reason I thought I had been asleep for a really long time and everyone had died.
"Shit. Gotta call my union!"
I always smile when I notice that the various traps I set at my door each night haven't been tripped while I was sleeping.
this morning i woke up at about 3:00 and set the time back 20 minutes, then fell back asleep for an hour after which i was half-awake for about 2 more hours, just staring at the wall and not really thinking about anything at all
my subconsciousness is a weird guy
One time I woke up at 3 AM and I thought it was Christmas day. :I
Not necessarily after waking up, but it's still related. Sometimes my brother or my dad will tell me to get up. Because they don't try hard enough to wake me up, I talk to them in my sleep and make up excuses to stay asleep. I left a microphone recording one night to hear what I do. My dad told me to wake up and asked me where something was and I told him I didn't know and that I was getting up in just a few minutes. Then I sleep for a long time.
One time I woke up and in my half-asleep consciousness, imagined a wasp flying towards me so I ducked under my covers. Well it landed on me and appropriately turned into toast and rubbed it toasty body on my blanket before flying off.
one time i woke my self up talking to my self about how much i want to eat a banana....

I'm not sure if you're referring to a specific one, but there's a good reason for all but one of those. My mom used to live in Alaska (and likes to talk about it) and currently works in a hospital, plus I've had a lot of surgery, including dental surgery, and I hate the dentist. There's no good reason for me to have thought I was bleeding profusely from my feet.
There's also no good reason for me to have thought I was in bed with this girl.
