Any one got any ideas for cheap fun stuff to do on the weekend? I've realized that all I do is video games and internet in my free time, and I'm getting bored.
buy a hammock for 20 bux and head to a wilderness in the morning, hang up the hammock, and sit alone with your thoughts and the wind
Do you have any hiking trails where you live? I hiked for the first time this year in the Smokies and had a blast. Just get a decent walking stick or equivalent and give it a shot. Good exercise, gets you outdoors and it can help clear your mind of things.
get out and walk. literally anywhere. if you've got trails nearby, walk those. if you don't, even just walk down your road and you'll be amazed at what you notice. use that time to let your mind wander or listen to music

Grab a ball, throw it at a wall
That'll entertain anyone for hours
If you have a friendly local game store, you might see if they play D&D on the weekends and if you can get in on it.
Find someone else, find two big sticks. Problem solved
Get more people and more sticks for extra fun

While this is good fun, for god's sake don't do it outside. Somebody's children might see.

You're right, small targets are a pain to hit
This thread made me realise how boring and depressing my life is everyday. I just sit on the computer, nothing else

Tried this and was entertained for a solid 5 minutes would recommend.
learn some photography and walk around taking creative pictures of random shit
go anywhere and take pictures
go back in
You could pick fruit. Granted, you might need to pay to do so unless it's like a neighborhood tree and then there is the chance of bugs and/or pesticides. You'd get a bit of exercise and have potentially tasty fresh fruit.
birdwatching
I do this at pubs all the time, but occasionally someone will come up to me and angrily ask if i'm looking at their bird.
Technically if it snowed in your area there's quite a few things you'd want to do outside.
Meanwhile we still have no snow here and its slightly driving me nuts.
Construct a makeshift helicopter pad, can be on your lawn or roof
Carry a bag of googley eyes, and place them on random objects for comedic effect.
Stare at the sun.

See if any pubs around you have live music on the weekend. I only recently went to a Billy Joel tribute, for instance. And while you're there, why not sample some beers you've never had before?
Go check out some plays, musicals or shows. Yeah you'll be going into relatively expensive territory here, but it's a pleasant way to unwind. Maybe even a chance to socialise before or afterwards.
Go for a swim at the pool. If you have your own car, why not go for a cruise? See if any friends might be interested as well.
