I have to put my cat down this coming Tuesday. We have been together for 10 years and now she has heart problems, nervous system problems and limps etc. It really is sad and I want to know, when you guys are sad. What do you do? I usually play a game I can get engrossed in. Doesn't necessarily make me feel happy (although it usually does) but stops me thinking about anything else.
Listen to music that makes me cry like a bitch, feel better afterward.
I block everything out and skate (well more than usual) or draw, or write something. Art and physical exercise are your friends
I actually don't "treat" my depression but distract myself with loads of tv, video game, etc. you name it

Draw the saddest shit you can, like literally pour all your emotions down on a piece of paper. Does not need to be artistic or pretty, hell it doeesnt even have to look like something. Now that you have gotten rid of that, start drawing happy feelings, smiles, flowers or anything you connect to happiness. Atleast thats what i do.
