I dunno, 40 bucks for an unlock all DLC seems a bit steep, though I guess buying everything seperately would probably amount to more than 40 bucks.
(Yeah I know it's 30 bucks on sale for right now).

It's less pay to win than ever before
they've done a ton of rebalancing and weapons like the jackal and plasma rifle aren't even close to as good as they used to be. Everything seems pretty well balanced now.

Also, HiRez only made this because the community asked for it. It's not every company that will pretty much completely change their business model for a game in order to please the fans. They've also halved the cost of every item in the game. They really are doing a lot to pick TA up from its knees, you guys should give them more credit. It's pretty lame that everyone is reacting negatively to this, shame on you all.
uh it has never been pay2win. there was never a point in the game where gameplay-affecting stuff was only available to people who paid real money. It was grindy for a bit after open beta (launch) but they did a pass that lowered the costs and folded credits into XP, which caused a noticeable increase in your ability to get new shit or level shit you already have. It was certainly "play2win" in that people who played more had generally better performing classes or equipment, but Tribes is the least p2w F2P I've seen yet.

misinformed blind opinion, as the previous two people stated the game has practically never been pay2win (except for the plasma update - even then for about a week) In fact, all the weapons you start with are in most cases just as good as the ones you don't start with. Everything is cheaper and this pack is about the price of the average multiplayer shooter except it's 10x better than it.

When did everyone turn on T:A anyway? HiRez obviously care more about SMITE but Tribes is still (and will continue to) get updates, in fact there's a voice pack already confirmed for the next update so that pretty much denies any stupid rumour from people saying "omg hirez are doing this just to get some money before it dies!!" Yeah, if they wanted to get money before it dies they wouldn't of hired a community manager they would've just ignored it and let it fade off into obscurity.

I meant to go into detail but I went to sleep, what I meant was you can no longer get it any more, everyone else is now amongst a league of self entitled master races with VIP.
pay 2 stomp noobs until you get to the point where you're fighting against players who have more hours than you.
