I'm looking to upgrade my CPU and Motherboard. But I've got no Idea what to buy and I've only got about three hundred dollars to spend on it. Looking for stuff that will make it so I can run Rage, Skyrim and Space marine with no problems. From what I understand, I've got a pretty good PC going. But, Here are my current specs:

Your GPU will be a bottleneck after you upgrade the CPU, so get on replacing it ASAP.
What's the form factor of the DELL case? If it's BTX you're fucked

I have no Idea. It's a Inspiron 530 with a 500 watt power supply if that helps
Case seems to be mATX, I'd not recommend reusing the case because of how cramped that shit would be.

You'll want a new case and PSU, but if you can't fit it into the budget just save and replace them later. Should also note that if you don't get a new case (ASSUMING the Inspiron is mATX), you'll have to get a mATX AM3+ board.

Sadly I can't. I'll bookmark it all for later though.
