• Tf2 Dedicated Server isn't showing up on Internet Server List

So I decided to try and run a dedicated server today so I could farm some gifts in the new map while people idle.. So I start up the dedicated map program, set everything to the right stuff, I test it by seeing if my friend can join and he can. Ports are forwarded correctly and everything. But the problem is I want my server to show up on the internet master server list so others can join by just seeing the server. But every time I put it up nothing happens. any ideas? (If this is the wrong section I'm sorry, please move it.)
When i make server trough game i have same problem. People can only join trough console via ip. Because it dosent show up in the server list.

AFAIK there's a extra set of ports that needs to be opened, so the server can communicate with the Steam Servers. People (including me) tends to forget those ports.

In short, open port 1200 UDP to your server.

probably dump question. Did you open the ports on the computers firewall? Also if you can't get any help here, try the steampowered forum http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1002 or similar places.
Yes and I've tried the steam forums and have gotten no help from them.
Well SOMETHING is blocking it. Either: your ISP is being a dick and having your connection on a NAT network http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_address_translation Your router is a stuck up bitch. You have some Antivirus/firewall software that doesn't like you Or the dedicated server files are corrupt somehow.
