Well for a while now I've been looking to buy some new speakers for my computer. Problem is, I know pretty much nothing about what separates good speakers from bad speakers.
Now that Black Friday is coming up Newegg has a lot of good deals and I spotted these:

They seem really nice. The one thing I do know is that I want a 2.1 system and these seem like the perfect price for my budget, especially since they used to be $100. I also like Logitech and haven't been disappointed by their stuff. Has anyone had experience with these speakers or know if they're good for me? I'll use them for pretty much everything from listening to music to watching TV/Movies to playing games. I'm not a big audiophile so as long as they sound decent with rock/metal/some electronic music that might be bass heavy I'm not too picky.
The piano black finish might get you plenty of figure prints and might scratch easy
How do I find out what my speakers goodness level is?
All I know is it costed $500 it's a 3 piece set (2 speaker 1 bass) and it's 5 years old. I can't find the model anywhere..
Buy it, looks pretty, says it sounds good, $50.
Those are good, if you are not really into music.
Next step up would be a seperate amp and speakers but that will set you back at least 300$.

For a decent amp alone.

Meh second hand.
I found a 250w technics amp at my local second hand shop for 40€ and 2 akai speakers with soft dome tweeters and a 10 inch sub speaker.
That was a pretty nice find.
