Kinda unfortunate that it took this long, I'm worried that it will be overshadowed by Yooka-Laylee.
One billion years later and about to be overshadowed by Yooka-Laylee.
Sheesh. Backed it on kickstarter with the beta thing, but that hasn't arrived. Hat girl is top qt tho
what? mighty no9 is re-releasing again?
It's better that nothing :v:
It's better that nothing :v:
It's a hell of a lot better than nothing, I played the beta and it's perfectly fun. The development is glacial, but out of an apparent lack of manpower more than incompetent development.
Jonas is still working on this? Was under the impression he bailed on it over a year ago. [editline]18th December 2016[/editline] Also can't wait for him to try nuking negative reviews once its released, if his past history is anything to go off, good chance he'll do it.
I see it less being overshadowed by Yooka Laylee, and more of a decent alternative to Yooka Laylee. It already seems to satisfy some of the elements that people think Yooka Laylee is lacking (busier worlds, more world interaction), and it's going to be less expensive on launch as well. I'm honestly going to pick both up, as both seem like great fun. It'll also be interesting to compare the works of a fan of Banjo Kazooie to the works of the actual Banjo developers themselves.
When I saw the title I thought this was gonna be a TF2 update tbh
