Well since I hear making your own PC is the new, hip thing these days I'm going to try to make my own. Now I've been looking at different ways to cool your PC and one way of doing it happen to catch my eye: Oil cooling. I'm wondering will oil cooling work well enough for me not to worry about temperatures? Also, if the temps get hot enough will it slowly damage or wear out any vital hardware? Thanks in advance. P.S. Please tell me your experience with oil cooling your PC if any of you have done it? TL;DR Will oil cooling work?
you'll be fine on air [editline]05:25AM[/editline] or http://www.hardcorecomputer.com/
I hate dust

will that limit air flow? EDIT:also wont dust clog the filter!

since you are the only FP member that is willing to help me and I don't want to further interrupt the forums shall we take this to the PM's?
Or the MSNs/Steams?
Air cooling is all you need.
Oh Combine, he's not a troll. Just someone who hasn't built a computer before, but just google "building a computer" read a few guides oh and yes dust does clog is and then it does limit airflow, only then. but thats why you clean it regularly, Actually I think I need to clean mine.
Yeah but he wants oil cooling
maybe he's hardcore
maybe he's hardcore
I saw the pugetsys vid and It seemed like a cheap and good way of keeping my comp cool with out worrying about dust and expensive cases
Keeping your house/apartment/room (depending on stage of life) clean also helps a lot.
I'd stick to air, tbh my water cooling system is more hassle than its worth with the amount it cools.
question what are the best kind of those air filters cause i want some
I saw the pugetsys vid and It seemed like a cheap and good way of keeping my comp cool with out worrying about dust and expensive cases
it's also fairly risky and good luck trying to move it around there's nothing wrong with air
will that limit air flow? EDIT:also wont dust clog the filter!
Air is fine for home users unless you are doing serious overclocking, airvents won't drastically change temps
will that limit air flow? EDIT:also wont dust clog the filter!
That's the point, just remove and clean it then put it back in. Edit: To stop the dust that is But no it doesn't limit air flow that much, but unless your doing big overclocks then air is all you need.
