Hey guys, I'm having a slight argument with my friend who says I'm not poor. I'm living off $16,000 a year, he is saying that the income my family makes (aunt, sister, etc.) is counting toward my household income. He's telling me to put the fact that I flew to Tennessee a few weeks ago which the tickets cost 40 dollars each, so 80 dollars since I flew up, and flew down. Mind you my uncle paid for those, and he does not live in my house. So, Can you guys help with this argument so he can drop it?
You can afford a computer and internet, you're not poor.
Maybe hes just poorer (?) than you and thinks your rich while in reality you're both poor!
His dad just bought him a brand new computer ( pretty much ) He got a new 5770 and Q8400 processor. Around three days ago he bought the new Arma, etc.
You can afford a computer and internet, you're not poor.
The computer was given to my by my dad. My parents are divorced, my mom is unemployed, we are living off child support, and can't get welfare. If we pay one bill, we can't get groceries and vice versa. We don't have a car, and our cable is almost shut off every month, but churches and occasional family will help us out. [editline]08:24PM[/editline] And David, my Q8400 was on sale. The 5770, I got after I sold my 360, of which I saved up for. Most of my games are either gifts from friends, or from applying for stuff like prizes. My brother also spent alot of money on this account when it was his. He lives away from the house, and has a job. My food is from a charity organization that gives name brand stuff for like 50 cents.
Why the fuck do people pay for cable. 60$ a month pays for a decent amount of food materials.
His dad also bought him a 22" monitor, and his television isn't broken, he's exaggerating. His internet is NEVER cut off, and I have a video of him and his mom going to buy groceries and smoothies that he took yesterday.
Davids is about to mention my monitor. It was on sale from Dell, and my dad got it for me as a late Christmas present. He was working somewhere in Iran.

Fuck, he got here before me.
Why the fuck do people pay for cable. 60$ a month pays for a decent amount of food materials.
He can afford both, he's just over-exaggerating, if he couldn't afford both his mom would of already stopped paying for the cable.
My mom won't let the cable turn off, She is rather thick headed. She wants to live a life of luxury that we can't afford. David, we had a $30 dollar gift card, the bill was $25.
He went to olive garden two days ago with his Mom also, eating out if you're poor? Hmm. You can't convert a gift card to regular money unless you sell it. But for us, that's a free meal.
He also just got a Palm pixi around two months ago on contract, again, not poor.
Also David, my Pixi was free from Sprint. We need a cell phone, we don't have a house phone. The bill is also $134 a month for two phones. My mom has to walk everywhere and needs one for Florida rape.
You have your grandma's van everyday to go wherever you want.
David, it's my grandma's 1999 Chevy fucking Venture.
He just bought an External harddrive also. 1TB I think.
I had a coupon code for the external HDD which brought it to $30 USD for a 500 gig one. That's a steal, with money that was GIVEN to me.
That's a lie.
This is a hilarious fight, please continue.
Doesn't look like anyone cares. You might as well settle this off the internet, using the only method that works...
