so i get home and start up my computer, and AMD tells me it's got a new update
so i agree and it starts downloading, and when it finishes it leaves my resolution at the minimum.
shit like that typically happens so i don't think anything of it, and i let it reboot
when it reboots, it's still on the minimum resolution, i try to change it back and the highest i can choose is 1400x1050
i've tried reinstalling the drivers twice now but nothing changes
one AMD program tells me i'm up to date, while another tells me it has a new update, and i'm fucked as for what to do now
Try redetecting the monitor. omega 14.12 screwed me too, redetecting the monitor fixed it
Download Display Driver Uninstaller:

Start Windows in fail-safe mode (spam F8 before Windows starts to load)
Run DDU, and choose the recommended option.
Once the system's restarted, either manually download and install Catalyst Omega, or download an older, stable version, such as 14.4
