It seems like Minecraft has expanded A LOT from when I first saw it. I am starting to get bored of wow or been playing to much and I have looked into minecraft and had a few questions.
First; How many players can a "server" hold? I'm looking to join PvP type battles.
Second, If I buy the game can I put it on my wife's computer and she can play with me? or do I need to buy 2 copies.
1.) I think the max. is 64 or 32. Not sure though. Or then there is no limit like Soderholm13 said.
2.) You need to buy two copies in order to play together.
Also, PvP isn't that advanced yet, and neither is the server system, servers work by IP atm, so you just need to find a good server (from a forum like FP).
-snip-
Don't think there is an actual player limit, Profanwolf's SMP Server has 100 slots, so I'd say it depends on the server :V:
You and your wife can play together if you have 2 accounts, but if you only have 1 account you can not.
-basically a snip-
Just for you Rubberfruit :buddy:

200 people = maximum.
how do you harvest cobblestone i cant find any
When you mine stone, you get cobblestone.
You can turn cobblestone back in placeable stone blocks by putting them in a furnace.
