Everybody will tell you this is the best router.

Just search around for a better price for it, $79 is a bit steep.

Right now it's 30$ off the price.
Somehow you can only see that if you add it to your shopping cart..

I have one of those. It use it as a wireless bridge. Its amazing if you use DD-WRT.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833166032&cm_re=dd-wrt-_-33-166-032-_-Product is great, the GL is too, but it is a bit expensive and this is pretty much the same.

I have that router. I can without a doubt say it is the best router I have ever had. Hell it's been 6-7 years and it's still going strong.

Working fine for me. DD-WRT Firmware though. Official Firmwares sucks.
I had the wrt54gs, I think it's predecessor. Wonderful router. Lasted me 6 years. I'll probably get the one you guys posted.
Tomato > DD-WRT

is actually a good deal as you get full gigabit lan, so your transfers from PC to PC aren't limited to 10~11MB/s depending on noise and packet size
Potato > Tomato
Tomato Tomato

Because it is, and quite apparently, it's at a reasonable price as of now. It's what I have, go get it OP!
Get something that you can put DD-WRT on. You can add a ton a features to it. That's why I love my WRT54GS.

Sock firmware is crap, but it is a great router once you put DD-WRT on it.
$29

If I recall, it has similar specs to the WRT54GL (It's a rebranded Netcore NW618).
Mine runs Tomato really well, though make sure to clear the NVRAM after installing a custom firmware. I didn't figure that out for a while and it wasn't able to get a WAN IP until I did it. The router is solid, I haven't ever needed to reboot it and I've had it for about a year. The Newegg feedback has a lot of useful information in it.
EDIT: From a quick Google search, the Rosewill RNX-GX4 has a 240 MHz CPU, 4 MB of flash and 16 MB of RAM. The Linksys WRT54G has a 200 MHz CPU, 4 MB of flash and 16 MB of RAM. So really, you're paying less for more with this one.

They send you a free router.

I have a WRT54Gv2 that's also still going. They're ugly as sin but once you put custom firmware on them (I use Tomato, but would recommend DD-WRT at this point) they're like a god damned tank so who cares how they look. (WRT54GL is the modern equivalent, for anyone wondering)
Status page says 71 days of uptime and it's working great.
