Fantastic mod
Downloading as we speak.
Whoa it doesn't require HL1, nice.
Fantastic mod
It's above average at best.
I started a Let's Play of this, but I never finished it. I never even finished the game for that matter... Might uninstall the mod version I have and install this one and re-do it.
eeh, it was okay didn't live up completely to my expectations will try to finish it now, dunno if i will...
eeh, it was okay didn't live up completely to my expectations will try to finish it now, dunno if i will...
Pussy! Your just scared to play admit it.
The voice acting is a bit shit at times but otherwise great mod.
When I originally played the game on my own, I got up to the [sp]woods before I stopped playing. The game wasn't really scaring me, just very unnerving and tense. But I reached my stopping point where you have to run from Sawrunner and put the doorknob in to open a door - because it was pretty much impossible for me to do it when the menu doesn't pause game actions, so I kept getting killed due to the clunky interface.[/sp] Considering people got past that part to begin with, I guess I was just bad at it, but goddamn. v:v:v
The voice acting is a bit shit at times but otherwise great mod.
cant be as bad as chemical existence or they hunger, gonna give this a download later tonight
if you get this you should expect relatively good scares and not much else
"horror" games never really scared me
"horror" games never really scared me
I feel that people always play these games at the worst times. Any genuinely scary horror game, I always try to play in the middle of the night with headphones (can't hear surroundings and more immersive) and very light clothing (you'll feel more exposed and prone to being frightened) with the volume loud enough so you can hear all the ambient noises. If the game isn't loud or if you're playing in the middle of the day, I don't think it'll be as scary. By any chance do you do any of these?
"horror" games never really scared me
This one is quite eery until you get guns, after that it just turns into weird puzzle horror shooter.
It's above average at best.
Are you kidding me
God, it's about time. This was one of the first green lit games.
The voice acting is a bit shit at times but otherwise great mod.
As far as it's not then I guess we're safe

The only cool thing about it is that the college is mapped after the college i go to
did someone mention bad voice acting
I just tried Coop with my friends, this mod has such a godawful interface and took us about 30 odd minutes to play and it still didn't work.
It's good but I wish the horror was a bit less based on constant jump scares. It's a bit weird to see a game have such a good atmosphere but at the same time ruin it by constantly have shit jump at you.

All I remember is that face. You know which face I mean.
Playing for the first time in co-op with a similarly ignorant friend, is this a mistake? Because I'm not at all a fan of some of the combat so far
Well the reason I was waiting so long for this to come out on steam is that I hoped I would be able to play it for more than 5 minutes without a crash, but I can't even launch the steam version without a crash, so yay.
It's above average at best.
I was extremely impressed from a technical standpoint, but as a game it really wasn't that fun.
This was the first game to make me scream out loud. [editline]25th April 2013[/editline]
I was extremely impressed from a technical standpoint, but as a game it really wasn't that fun.
Horror games aren't supposed to fun. If that were the case, Resident Evil would have died at game 1.

[editline]25th April 2013[/editline] And I was terrified by Nightmare House 2, that's the level of pussy I'm at and this game didn't scare me.
It's pretty friggin cool that this is free for everyone to enjoy. Game's really good too, the pinnacle of GoldSRC modding
