• Building a computer, need some ideas

I'm building a new computer in the 700$ price range. I'm only building the tower and I already have a hard drive. After lurking on here for a bit i'm going to take everyones advice and wait for sandy bridge. I was thinking of ordering everything now and using my current processor in it until sandy bridge was released. I'm just curious is the sandy bridge going to use an AM3 socket or something new? I dont want to buy a motherboard now and then it not be compatible with sandy bridge when I buy it. Also does anybody know what the prices are going to be for them? Going with sandy bridge for CPU. If sandy bridge is going to be compatible with current mobo's I need help picking a good Mobo around 80$ Also a PSU around 40$ if possible Last, a relatively cheap CPU fan. I'm open to all ideas/changes. I have an antec nine case right now with the HD5770 and it sounds like a helicopter taking off, trying to keep it quiet. Also like the selected case because I can turn off the bright ass LED's.
You can get a 1gb GTX 460 for around $10 more, it would be well worth it.
wait until sandy bridge is out to make a thread then

Wow, well worth waiting for. I just hope I can find a decent mobo that supports it for around 100$. And Seasonic is expensive
