Lord of the rings online and Vindictus are my favorites, but require a good computer to run it. Mabinogi (Not Heroes) is good, similar to Vindictus but less graphical. (In Korea, Vindictus is called Mabinogi Heroes and made by the same creators, Nexon.)

Ok, I know there are some anti-Facebook-app people here, but there is a Unity-Based game called "Uberstrike." It's really stupid, and compared to games that use micro-transactions, this game abuses them. But you can have a great time if you play with some of your buddies.

There are some pretty decent MMOFPS out there. Warrock was fantastic back in the day and Combat Arms is all right.
Lord of the rings online is free now.
