• Is there any way I can add music to my iPhone without iTunes?

Title says it all really, iTunes just doesn't work on my computer any more after a botched uninstall (see this thread for details on that.) I'd rather not have to boot up my laptop and swap my external round every time I want to update the music on my new iPhone, so is there any way around this? Also, while we're at it.. is there a jailbreak around for the iPhone 4 yet?
If you are using a mac, use a torrent (legal one with legal music...) and drag the music to the ipod icon on your desktop.
itunes

Winamp?
To do that you need to enable Apple Mobile Device support, I can't. That's where the installer error occurs.
Without Apple Mobile Device support, aka Bonjour you are fucked.
I never tried it, but iFunbox?
http://www.pwntunes.net/ Requires jailbroken device.
Well then, are there any iPhone 4 jailbreaks about yet?

You could use Disk aid http://www.digidna.net/products/diskaid , If u look around you'll find something to do with music in your ipod :)
This is why I regret getting my iPod. iTunes seems to be the only option for putting music on. :sigh:
Well, Normaly, hen you plug in you Ipod or Iphone on your CPU, on your screen, an icon, like if you would of pluged a USB Key, open it and juste add your songs from your file to the file... Thats what i do sometimes when Itune doesn't work.
Winamp has a plug-in that allows you to add music to your iPod/iPhone. It's free, of course. http://www.mlipod.com/

And you said plug it onto your CPU.
Why would you want to plug it onto your CPU :smug: /Sarcasm iTunes is pretty much the reason why I don't use my iPod.
Was thinking the same thing. And agreed. iTunes needs to be improved.
Buy a HTC evo.
Buy a HTC evo.
That is not a solution to his problem.

The computer is not a CPU, the processor is a CPU, but not the case itself, Please learn basic Hardware and Softwarde knolodge before you come in here.
That is not a solution to his problem.
If I'm not mistaken, the iPhone is the only Smartphone that requires a program to sync content to it, everything else just.... works.
If I'm not mistaken, the iPhone is the only Smartphone that requires a program to sync content to it, everything else just.... works.
Rated "very funny dude".
There really isn't. You can try third party programs such as SharePod and Amarok and some other stuff. I've tried SharePod and it synced with my iPod Touch, but none of the new music carried over. Might as well try and find a way to fix iTunes, that or make your updates far and few.
