By cheap i mean like 500-1000, trying to stay away from 1000 because i only have about 900 in the bank but i will be making more. For games i'd want it to run cod4, l4d, tf2 on high with decent frame rate. That's actually a really good laptop for $700.
CPU's a little iffy, but the GPU is fine and that's what really matters for your average game.

eh get the 3850 ati seems to have a tad better performing laptop gpu's
ASUS ones are pretty good.
