A Door Out of Time: tales from the Never Ending Dungeon

"Knowing when to quit is probably a very important thing, but I just am not ready"
-James Taylor
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A gray haired man sits across from you at a table both impossibly long and uncomfortably short. "You see this bag?" he says, motioning to the burlap sack he'd been clutching since you awoke with your hands zip tied to a chair, "You see the blood seeping through the bottom of it? That's the blood of a god. I killed him. I had to." He empties the contents onto the table, one gruesome rotting head. It seemed so familiar when you saw it, but you ca't remember who or where from.
You blink and find yourself in a room, a single door in front of you, standing alone in the void. The restraints on your chair are undone, as are many other's restraints, you feel. Perhaps they will become fond allies in the future. Perhaps they will become great foes.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Old habits die hard, I suppose.
New round, new rules. Let's try speed format.
First off, no more d10. Too inefficient, we're moving to a d6.
1: Critical failure: While twirling your gun, you manage to shoot yourself in the head. You've spontaneously become dead.
2: Major failure: While attempting to stab the imp that called your mother a whore, you trip and severe one of your limbs. Major wounding (typically 40-75% damage,) High likelihood of debuffs
3: Minor failure: While attempting to sharpen your power axe, the blade slips and your finger is degloved by the grindstone. Minor wounding (typically 10-50% damage,) moderate debuffs
4: Minor success: In refitting your rifle with a new scope, you've increased the accuracy of the weapon, improving all rolls by 1. Minor wounding on target, moderate buffs
5: Major success: The sudden knowledge needed to properly operate a katana is imparted into your mind, allowing you to gracefully sever your foe's hand as he attempts to attack. Major wounding on target, high likelihood of debuff on target, good buffs on self
6: Critical movement: The call is heard from across the void, and a historical relic in the form of a flesh chimera rampages from just out of everyone's sight, tearing the foe assunder, before exploding into fine red mist. Definite likelihood for instakill on mook level enemies. Major damage to bosses and near-guaranteed debuffs.
Second, buffs are still dynamic. If you can justify it, you can buff it (I say as I polish a gold pistol which, although at first appearing to be encrusted with small, colorful, gems, is in fact lined with tiny galaxies.)
Third, allies are out. You can summon them as a form of attack, and nothing else. The use of 4+ man teams I think was a contributing factor to the slowdown and eventual halt of previous editions.
Fourth, you start in a chair, and the doors are open. All of them.

Folc: "My fucking head... Who was that voice? Who am I, come to think of it?" You hope for an answer to these questions and more as you walk through the door laid out in front of you.

What ????
I assume no one saw the last thread post. PM everyone from the old one to get them back.

Something moved in the shadows. Heavily, in fact. Seconds later, it'd force itself forward and move towards one of the other inmates -- a green, sickly looking woman -- at a high speed.
Cranny Faggot, the admired (and ghastly) soup cook was knocked out of the ring by a blue-clothed, purple-hooded man with a ram-skull staff. He yelled out: "Myaah!" The cauldron of Cranny Faggot, the unused background character, tipped over and spilled out a bunch of green ooze and eyeballs.
Skittles, too.
The man slammed his staff down, looking about and pondering with a loud, confused and very nasal voice: "Where am I!? Where's He-Man!? Why am I not in Castle Grayskull!?"
He shook his head and turned, skulking away to one of the walls, trying to find a hollow spot.
What is this? Someone mind explaining the rules and how it works?
Kisame makes a leaning tower of chairs and attempts to break open a hole in the roof
What is this? Someone mind explaining the rules and how it works?
You basically roleplay. Then game mods update with a 6 sided dice. The higher, the better your command/turn was. So like
kierany9: Pulls out a gun of fuckery and kills *some shit here that's relevant to what's happening within the most recent update, or do anyhting you want really. You just can't say "I'm god and I win everything" *
and then you find your dice score on the next update and move on.
Calebc789 attempts to go through the door, pulling out a device/weapon he found in his pocket. (Mods pick it at update)
Never really peeked in these threads much at all, so I hope I'm doing it right by the little rules mentioned.

Everybody happened to have their own chair. Everybody also happened to miss the ship perched in its own chair.
A man with a beard of solid rock steps out of the cabin. He's obviously pissed. "No, LEFT at Albuquerque! I'm stepping out real quick to see where we are."
The ship tipped over in its chair is way over vertical. The stone-bearded man takes a few paces out the door into thin air before realizing the lack of solid ground and beginning his small descent like you would see in a cartoon. (Roll for damage/evading the fall)

As of now, school is getting in the way of free time, so we'll have to wait for Folc to update.

The random chance god frown upon you, as you attempt, against common logic, to immitate the leap of faith from assasin's creed. You end up stopping a few feet short of the ground, speared on the horn of the diamondium golem. It grabs your still barely living body by the top half, ripping it from the bottom and throwing it to the ground.

Roll: 3
While you attempt to wander around and find some sort of cave, which as past knowledge would tell you, should randomly spawn into existence, one of a group of gunmen notices you, and, after telling his friends to watch him "Kill his childhood," fires a burst at you, though only one of the rounds manages to wing you

Kisame: Kisame makes a leaning tower of chairs and attempts to break open a hole in the roof
Roll: 1
As you manage to get the lest of a fifty chair high stack precariously up to an arbitrarily high roof, at the last second before you punch through the improbably cieling, a seagull wings by, screams something about burando, and shits glitter in your eye. The shock of this event, while not causing you to fall, does cause you to sit in the last of the chairs, and evacuate your soul from your body to avoid the situation, leaving a fully functional but empty shell behind.
Kisame enters the field

Bob sees the bloodied golem next to the body of the (now dead) stonecycle. "Jerry.. he was part stone, just like you. those damn high-tier minerals always think they can put us down. It's time we finish this. For me, for you, for the man with the sweet beard"
I do my battle cry (dice roll decides how cool it was) whilst throwing Jerry at the Golem.
First turn and two of us are already dead. Great start to an adventure.

STONEBEARD thinks he can make the jump and leaps from the deck of the ship. With his lucky d20 in his pocket, he hopes he's appeased the RNG gods. Either he will either tuck and roll successfully, accidentally miss the ground and fly, or go kersplat. If this were the diving bit at the Olympics, this would score at least an 8.

The RNG gods were not pleased. A DIAMONDIUM GOLEM suddenly walks out the door. It's like a really tiny door, but now's not the time to be asking where the eff it came from, you're now impaled on its pelvic horn, the worst kind to get poked, stabbed, or even touched with.
With a crackling voice as the lifepoints fades away like an odometer rolling to zero, he utters as his last words, "Not...again..." STONEBEARD TAKES -800HP DAMAGE. STONEBEARD TAKES -500HP DAMAGE PER TURN FOR BLEEDING DAMAGE (HP. REM. 1200/2000)
The DIAMONDIUM GOLEM grabs STONEBEARD off of its horn and rips him apart. So much for that bleeding damage. Would you like to evaluate your progress? (y/n/q) y

Attempt to bring a weapon to bear and get my bearings.
Apologies about the delay, I work nights for the military, so sometimes I forget about stuff.
------------Ally Commands------------
bobxrawks: I do my battle cry (dice roll decides how cool it was) whilst throwing Jerry at the Golem.
Roll: 6
As you're about to begin to scream you're tarzanesque battle cry, "Warriors" begins to play in the background, causing a huge endorphine rush, causing you to throw the rock creature with such incredible force that it shears off the whole lower left arm of the golem, exploding it into fine shrapnel, before accelerating to near lightspeed, seemingly flying off in the distance, before creating a ong crater from behind you, stopping immediately at your side.
Diamondium golem has lost 2000 HP and had its left arm destroyed
Bobxrawks has gained the power of rock
------------
Stonecycle: STONEBEARD'S GHOST decides to possess the golem that killed him. (Roll for possession) One roll per turn, please
Roll: 5
While unable to assume direct control of the golem, you do notice particularly large pile of nearly indestructible diamondium flakes nearby. Focusing all your spiritual energy on the flakes, you cause them to animate and compress into a new, more or less damage immune body.
Stonebeard has revived, his new body immune to mundane damage (Anything that doesn't bring up magic or theoretical physics, etc.)
------------
Zeroinsanity: Zero: "Hey look at that... Ya know, I'm going to make a set of diamond arrow heads out of that golem."
Run at the golem and chip off diamonds.
Roll: 5
Taking a comon sense aproach, you quickly run by the golem with a large bag and grab the remaining powder from the obliteration of its arm and stonebeard's revival, before running off.
Zeroinsanity has a bag of diamondium dust
------------
Kisame: Takes out his finger gun and shoots the golem Reinterpreted as revive command
Roll: 4
Your soul manages to slice off part of its head enough to bleach the incident from its memory, and, no longer remembering why it evacuated in the first place, quickly climbs back into it's mortal coil, though slightly worse for wear
Kisame is revived, though may have brain damage
-------------
Jebs: Attempt to bring a weapon to bear and get my bearings.
Roll: 2
You attempt to pull a pistol from your pocket, as you saw another individual do with an assault rifle, though the attempt results in an active hand grenade, which quickly goes off, both turning your right arm into spaghetti, and dealing tremendous damage.
Jebs has entered the battlefield
Jebs has lost an arm and taken 1400 points of damage from an overcooked hand grenade
--------------
folc: Realizing you forgot to throw a command, you attempt to pull some sort of tactical vest from the battlefield, trying as hard as you can to will a dead soldier into existence.
Roll: 5
Against all odds, you find a dead gulf-war-era Talib on the floor of the battlefield, decked out in stolen equipment. You decide to extend the equipment's life expectancy a bit and pull it off of him, including a fully loaded Combat vest, including grenades and food, and ammo for the dead man's AK, which you also grab.
Folc has obtained and equipped an AK and a tactical vest
---------------Enemy commands-----------
Diamondium golem: Stunned from the explosive loss of your arm, you attempt to get revenge on bobxrawks by pummeling him into the ground.
Roll: 1
As you attempt to swing your arm down on your new mortal foe, he lifts his rock creature. Already of too much momentum to stop your swing, you smash into it, causing your other arm to be obliterated, now leaving you armless, and minus another good chunk of your lifeforce.
Diamondium golem has lost its other arm as well as 2000 hp.
---------------
Gunman 1: Buttstroke the pile of chairs upon which kisame is still sitting
Roll: 1
As you swing at the pile of chairs, you feel smug as the bottom most chair's leg collapses, causing the tower to topple. You feel less smug when it causes the tower to topple towards you, causing your untimely death via spearing upon a chair leg, while kisame lands basically unharmed,
Gunman 1 has died of massive impalement
------------
Gunman 2: Fire a volley at folc
Roll: 3
You fire a short burst at the newly tac'd out folc, a decision which turns out to be unfavorable as you both miss and cause him to return fir with a rather impressive volley of AK fire, more than a few of the bullets nicking you.
Gunman 2 has taken a few non vital shots and lost 400 hp as a result
--------------
Gunman 3: You begin to understand the intense psychophysical effect of the field and concentrate as hard as you can on turning the area around yourself into a minefield.
Roll: 6
Your efforts go so much farther than you could have concieved, turning the whole field into an explosive booby trap, waiting to destroy anyone at the slightest error. Somewhere, a banana peel also pops into existence.
The field is now filled with landmines, compounding the effects of failed rolls
