• Any Screenr alternative for recording screen?

My go-to app for screen recording was Screenr, it can help me record screen with audio easily, but I haven't used it for quite a long time, maybe for one year, but recently I want to make a video tutorial, but find that Screenr was retired in November! Oh gosh, I am quite upset and have to find an alternative option to do screen recording for free. Then I did a lot research in Google and found Jing and Apowersoft Free Online Screen Recorder. Jing is a great app, it allows for taking screenshot and make screen recording, I really like it, but it has 5 minutes' recording limitation. As for the Apowersoft Free Online Screen Recorder, at first I thought it requires Java which may bring trouble, but it doesn't. It's quite easy to use and does not have time limitation in recording. And it even allows me to add annotations when recording, this is quite useful. Pretty sure you can do the same thing with OBS, which is meant for streaming but you can record all different kinds of captures with audio including your monitor or screen.

Thanks CorporalRoss! OBS is a great tool, but I’m having difficulties in figuring it out. I prefer more online screen recorder that I can use instantly.
Thanks for sharing. I've already tried Apowersoft Free Online Screen Recorder. Looks pretty good.
Don't listen to anyone that doesn't say ShareX. Look how easy this is! When I stop recording (using a bound key on my keyboard that also started the recording) i'll just hit control+v to paste the automatically generated and copied link and blammo it's on the internet!
