My friend wants me to build a computer for him, which I'll do with no problem. The only thing is that I'm [B]god awful[/B] when it comes to staying under budget. I'll either go overboard or I'll forget something important.
He's been using a shitty Alienware laptop, but he's got a monitor nobody in his household uses. So that means he needs a keyboard/mouse/etc but he DOES have the OS disk. Newegg is preferred as well as an AMD build.
He'll be playing just vidya games and utilizing Photoshop.

I doubt the 912 will ever get restocked. A couple weeks ago, I was eyeing a Sapphire 6950 1GB and then went OOF. And it hasn't been there since. I suggest the 922, 1 level up from the 912 and still a great value.

out of stock does not mean out of production
uh yes they would. The Sapphire 6950 was one of the best-selling cards for price/performance.
Went out of stock > Never restocked > Deactivated.
And I never said out of production. You could always get it somewhere else, just not Newegg.
