I'm looking for a semi-professional gaming mouse, like a roccat or a razr... but i really don't know wat model i should buy! I mostly play minecraft, skyrim, witcher 2 and other rpg games.
Depends on what you looking for, if you want extra buttons/features, your hand size and price range.
I have both a roccat and a razor mouse, I prefer the Roccat because its more grippy and creates less sweat.
No such thing as a semi-pro/pro gaming mouse, thats all bullshit they slap on them to make you buy them. It all depends on what you like the best, go to a local store and try a bunch out. I for example have a fingertip grip and thus am forever stuck with my Logitech G9x.
hm i would like some extra buttons.. but not as many as the razor naga: i really wouldn't know where to look!
Where do you live?

Go look at reviews, manufacturer websites or even other threads like yours.
can we please just make a mouse megathread
not like it would matter because people constantly miss the tech support forum and the headphone megathread and the quick questions megathread but its the thought that counts
The Roccat doubles all the buttons.
wmo, intellimouse, g9x, xai, razer deathadder

Fnac. :)
e: Well atleast in Fnac España they let you try a bunch of "gaming" mouses
ok so i guess it's come to the final showdown:
ROCCAT KONE V.S. RAZER DEATHADDER
Deathadder is far superior to the Roccat.

RAZER Deathadder is far superior.
Don't be dumb, mouses are completely neutral in "Superiority", it's all about the way you grip your mouse and whats comfortable for you.
e: For example, I've tried the Kone and it's a decent fingertip mouse, but I find the Deathadder to be a horrible piece of shit in regards to my grip.
the deathadder is good because most people find it comfortable, it looks alright, and the sensor is extremely good (no acceleration)

it's called claw grip

and a lot of mice are terrible with claw grip because they aren't shaped like squares

I recommend the Razer Imperator.

Really simple and comfortable. I've had one for two years now and it still works a dream

Pricey though, but I feel it's been worth it having owned it this long.

Still in the works but most mice are there.
This is very good:

pretty much the same thing, I switch between claw and finger tip grips constantly then when I slide my mouse forward and backward
I don't see what the stigma for the R.A.T. is about. I have had a 7 since 2009 and it has served me well. I play the games you mention, and I find that I only really use the thumb buttons (two programmable and one to hold to raise the sensitivity for fine maneuvers). Anyway, this is just my two cents. Mice are mice and I think that when it comes down to it, the most important aspects are really price and durability.

It isn't really. You can switch between them but they aren't the same. I find claw and palm to be massively uncomfortable, claw because your fingers are so damned high, and palm just feels awkwardly strected out. Fingertip is like perfect bliss inbetween the two with your wrist on the mousepad so you can use it as a ~precision pivot~

palm sucks balls, I figure I use fingertip grip the most, switching to claw to be more accurate occasionally but I find myself using claw a lot less after switching to the mx518 from my wmo
I'm gonna go back

Since when do you sweat when you're using a mouse?
